Unacceptable repair of Tembo watch
- 02-04-2013

I purchased a Tempo watch in 09/2012. The metal plate that surrounds the watch face came adrift. The problem stems from poor quality soldering of the pins on the plate which hold it to the watch. I took the watch back to American Swiss for repair. The watch was repaired and returned (repair job: JC0107760002800), collected on the 2/2/2013. Within an hour of getting the watch back, the face place again came adrift again. The repairer had simply super-glued the old face back on to the watch. We now have watch with no face place and super-glue marks where the botched repair had been undertaken. This is extremely poor service which has cost us much time and effort.. I would not have bought the watch from AmericanSwis if I had known that this is the kind of after sales serviced they provide.
