Salesmen don't know what they are selling

Makro advertises a special on a Fibit Zip for R749 valid from 29 December - 13 January. However, this item (or any other Fitbit item) does not show on their website, and I am therefore unable to check which store has stock.

I called the Germiston Makro (closest to us) and the salesman didn't seem to know what I was talking about, and then said that they don't have stock and didn't know when they would receive stock.

I then Called the Alberton Makro. The salesman said that they have stock, and when i asked him which units they had in stock he asked me to hold and hung up the phone. I immediately called back and the person answering then had no knowledge of the product. I then asked him if the stocked the Nike Sportswatch (advertised on the same page) and this too he said he didn't know anything about.

Makro is making it very difficult for me to support them, as no one seems to know what is being advertised or sold by the store.
