Misinformed by sales person

My husband and I went to CNA in Vryheid about a week before Christmas. We wanted to buy a PS2 for my son. We were informed that it was discontinued so we decided that we will take a PSP instead. We ask the salesperson about the PSP's because there were nothing in stock. He informed us that the PSP's are also being discontinued and it's only the PSVita's that is available. We believed him, because we thought he would know about these stuff. We bought the PSVita for double the prise of the PSP's and left. After Christmas we went back to CNA and they had lots of PSP's on the shelf. I was very upset and called the complaints department. They were very helpful and assured me that the manager of the CNA store in Vryheid will contact me. She Phoned me back and said that she is sorry but she believes her employee did not give falls information and apologised for the inconvenience. She could not refund us because the item has already been used. I feel that I should be refunded because I was misinformed.
