Discontinued

About 3 months ago I phoned different Clicks Stores to find out if they have a certain Babyliss product that I wanted to purchase. At that time they all told me that it was discontinued and they would no longer get it so I had to settle for something else which I bought at your Promenade branch. The thing is, in this weeks catalogue you advertise the so called discontinued one that I wanted in the first place. Now I'm stuck with a babyliss 2in1 straightener that I hardly used. I phoned the clicks store in Promenade and explained to them but unfortunately I can't return the one that I have unless its faulty. Well I'm a honest person and I could've and said the thing was faulty and demanded a new one. I also work in retail and to me discontinued means that the manufacturer no longer makes it and the store no longer stocks it. I'm very upset. I even told the sales lady, who was very polite by the way, to keep the one that I wanted aside. So now I will have to sell mine for much less than what I paid for to buy the other one.
