Pathetic attitude of a sorry excuse for a manage

I received an sms from edgars about their 50% off sale on various items. My husband and I went to the Promenade branch in Mitchells Plain. I was looking for curtains and bedding and asked a woman to assist us about a specific curtain and she mentioned briefly that they had a 50% sale and this is all that's left. So buy the sound of that both my husband and I understood her as saying that all the bedding and curtains were 50% off. So we took a duvet set, bedding inner and pillows assuming that it was 50% off. When we reached the till the cashier said the bedding sale was over and it was only 50% off bathroom essentials. And at this we were very confused and told the cashier what this woman told us. She called the woman by the name Arlene and we found that she was the manager of the bathroom and bedding section. And instead of coming over to apologize for the confusion she came over and started arguing, literally shouting so that everyone could hear her. saying that she told us that the sale was over and she is not going to argue (while arguing at the top of her voice). She was so rude and her attitude was beyond disgusting. A real sorry excuse for a manager.
