I purchased a festina watch for R2600 and upon arriving back at work a half an hour later I noticed scratches on the side of the watch. I then called and advised of this to the manager and then soon after I went back to the store to either get a replacement or perhaps a discount seeing that when you purchase a watch for that amount you would expect it to be flawless. I enquired about a discount on the watch as they did not have another in stock and I really liked the watch. He then tokd me that this was not possible and that he could order 1 from another branch. I said okay and requested that my account be credited with the money paid. The next day I was called and told they do not have stock and that if they were to offer a discount it wouldnt be more than R20 and that he can order from the supplier which could take 2 weeks. That is not accpetable and why is truworths displaying scratched watches in the first place.
