I bought a dress at the YDE Gateway branch, a black lace. I tried a small and it was a bit tight so I just grabbed a medium hoping that it would fit. To my surprise, the next day when I planned on wearing the dress, i pulled the tag off and as i put it on the smell on the dress was enough to make me want to throw up. When i examined the dress properly, it was as clear as daylight that it had been worn before. With the festive rush I did not have time to go in to return the dress. The total disrespect and rudeness I was treated with by the so called 'supervisor' Londeka Luthuli was revolting! She had the nerve to ask me whether I was sure I had not worn the dress. She had no customer service skills whatsoever. Even went on to tell me that I could've returned the dress at the pavilion branch, she doesn't even know where I live and which branch is closest to me. I ended up being helped by another lady who explained that a refund query had to be opened and I would receive feedback shortly. I've given thought to this situation and have come to a conclusion that yde can keep the dress and I'm paying up my account and closing it and that'll be the last day I ever set foot in a yde store.
