On December 17th I purchased 2 go-karts as a gift at the Gateway branch fro R599 each.
They received their gifts on Christmas Day and we found that the karts sold to us were too small for them.
I went into Game on December 26th and discussed the return and credit/voucher of the 2 carts with Sibongile. She confrimed it would not be a problem. I confirmed I did not have the POP with me but that I had paid by debit card and could furbish the transaction details. Again she confirmed it would be no problem
That afternoon, I re-visited the store to return the karts. The tune had changed. "Sorry, i cant refund/credit you the full amount because you don't have a slip, you'll have to accept the promotional price! "
I confirmed I had visited the store earlier and spoken with her directly and discussed everything. She acted plain stupid, ignored me flat and marched off to get a manager. Along came Kavesh. No care attitude and not very willing to help. I explained the situation, "Sorry for you. The promotional price is all you'll get. We cant pull a copy of a till slip based on your ref number. Our computers cant do it" REALLY???
I now have a voucher for R300 less!! Sort it out please...
