Appauling customer service at Edgars, Menlyn Park

On 27 Dec 2013, I bought a pair of shoes from Edgars in Menlyn Park. On Saturday I wore shoes and they were damaged. On 29 Dec 2013, I returned the shoes to Edgars for exchange the shoes. I went to customer service queue and the lady asked me to fetch a replacement pair and come back. When I come back the was a long queue. Well, I stood on the queue and when I got to the front counter the lady at the front counter told me that she needed the receipt I used for purchasing. Sadly, I had lost it, but since I've purchased using my account, I thought she will have the information using my account number. I handed her my card. She then said she can't do it at that counter and told me to wait for her. She then went to new accounts counter and after about 15 minutes, she came back and said she can't help. I need to go the new accounts where they'll help me. Again, I stood on queue. The lady at the new accounts counter, then printed me a receipt and sent me back to exchange counter. I had to wait for her, and these made other customer angry as they thought I jumped the queue and hurled insults towards me. That was a very bad experience, I'm very disappointed with such a bad service.
