Poor Quality of Wedding Ring

I am very unhappy about the quality of a wedding band bought at Sterns. We put down a lay by on two wedding bands around July for collection in October. 4weeks after the wedding one of the diamonds fell off. My husband took it back to Maponya mall, he was told by the staff that the 6month guarantee period was expiring the following day (how is it that the guarantee starts when the goods are still in the shop?) I only wore the ring for a month doesn't the guarantee commence on the day the goods leave the store? The staff agreed to take the ring but made no promises since "the guys who collect the jewellery will soon close and the next collection would be on the Monday" (that was Friday afternoon). As promised, my husband was called Monday morning; the ring was ready and repaired. Puzzled as we were expecting it to be collected that day, I was excited that at least the process was fast. My joy was short-lived. The diamond was back in place and the ring polished and I was happy to collect it on the 24th of December. To my shock, on the 27th December 2013, I took a close look at my ring again and realised that the same diamond that had just been replaced had fallen off again. I
