Repair of laptop

Morning

We submitted a laptop for repair on the 5th of December and was informed it would take 7-10 working days for the repair, yesterday I was informed they do not know if it is scheduled for delivery, and they gave me the number of the company who do the repair to contact them as they will close for the festive season till 6th January. Not once did they call back to let us know what the problem was not even to give us an update of the status of the computer.

We needed the laptop before the 4th of January for a business trip and I feel the company could have done more to keep us up to date of the progress and the problem but all we get is it is still with the technician and they will call us.
