Krups Coffee Machine

Purchased a Krups coffee machine and a year later the LCD faded to an unreadable state, Took it in for repair on 11 November 2013 to Dion Wired, heard nothing until I queried rather loudly what was going on in first week of December. In 2 days after that got told I had to pay R280 so third party could effect a repair. Paid and received machine back by next week. Noticed that the front cover was loose when I got it home, discovered that the Krups third party technicians had broken all the plastic clips on the one side of the face cover while removing it (highly trained they found the fastest way in). Repaired it myself with superglue. A R5000 coffee machine repaired by some backyard mechanic. Well done Dion Wired and Krups. Will steer clear of both in the future.
Dion Wired for I don't care attitude and Krups for claiming to be a high end kitchenware supplier who make poorly designed equipment and cannot be bothered to have decent backup facilities in South Africa
