No help with route

I purchased a cisco router at the end of November, the first one did not switch on at all. i exchanged it, the second one keeps disconnecting from the Internet, however i called telkom and my isp for assistance they both confirmed its the router .when i went to to the store they insisted they need to book it in but the supplier is closed until the 3rd week of January and thereafter it will take 6 to 8 weeks for repairs. I found this unreasonable and requested could i not change the router for a different brand as i have lost faith in the cisco brand they refused point blank. do you expect me to run up and down to the store all the time for repairs to the router, as cisco seems problematic,? do you think its reasonable for me to wait for a possible 2months before i can receive my product back?
