Poor quality clothing

I regularly shop at Donna Claire and on Monday, 16 December, bought a pair of jeans, one dress, three tops - about R2100 worth of clothes. The first pair jeans I wanted to buy, had a huge, hardened black stain on the leg under the front pocket. When I asked the shop assistant, she remarked that it was supposed to be like that. I went back to the rack to get another pair to show her that it was indeed not supposed to be like that. When I wore one of the tops two days later, my fiance told me that there was a long laddered rip on the back of the dress, which meant that I had to return it. The staff didn't hassle me about it, and seemed shocked as well. Then when I wore the pair jeans which I had actually bought, I was shocked to see the shoddy workmanship - loose threads by the top button and the pockets. This is completely unacceptable from a large retailer that sells clothes at a premium price.
