Dreadfully long queues

This is the third time in the past week and a half that I have visited this store and all three times the queues to pay seem uncontrollable. There are always 7 tills yet everytime only 3 cashiers available. I have been here on a friday, a saturday and today a wedss and there seems to be no difference.
The cashiers take their time aand continue to conversate amongst themselves and now as I type this (15mins in counting) I am still in line with 5 people ahead of me.
This is ridiculous. Its December and surely you anticipated tons of customers.
So I get to the front of the line and I'm told I must wait for the next cashier as this teller is overriding. So I wait another 5 mins. Hire more temp staff if need be
