I bought a breakfast braai yesterday morning at checkers in boksburg. It was the last item on the shelf. I noticed the box was slightly opened and looked like it was re-wrapped. I took the item and showed the cashier that the box was slightly opened and she said its normal because they check that everything is inside. I paid for it and left just to find on my arrival at home that there was no handles or manual in the box. I drove back to the shop and spoke to the lady at customer service who called the responsible dept dealing with the item. I was furious because of the fact that i told the cashier that the box was opened and assured me it was normal. After a long wait to find there was no other i spoke to the store manager Nick Genade which was the worst manager ever with a stinking attitude that told me to take the refund and go, without offering any sort of solution. I was amazed by this man's attitude and rudeness, for a storemanager i think checkers has a no care attitude towards its customers. I think it was my last time at checkers seing how they handle their customers.
