Accused of lying

I went into the shop and was purchasing 5 purity 125ml guava and yogurt 2nd foods. There was a special on it (only that flavor) marked ar R5, 99. when it went through the till it was R7, 99. i told the teller that it was marked on special for R5, 99. she replied "well what must i do about it? " i said i am not paying that price as that isnt what is marked on the shelf. she called the superviser which then spoke to the manager. while i was still at the till i saw the manager walk and go check the price. he then took the price tag off and walked to the back. he then told the supervisor that i must go show her where i see R5, 99. i told her that i just saw him take the price off and walk to the back. she then told me that she doesnt know what im talking about and asked me a second time to go show them where i saw the R5, 99 price, because there isnt anything marked at that price. i then asked if shes accusing me of lying and her response was "no, but you must show me the price of R5, 99 and then they will give it to me for that price". i walked out fuming. this is a new shop and i dont think they should have managers or supervisers who are incompatent at doing there job properly.
