Incredible Connection
Extent of throttling is ridiculous

I recently signed up for the R99 2Mbps ADSL special. During the 6 days that I've been using this account I've been a heavy downloader, and as is to be expected on an unshaped ADSL account, my connection was throttled (fair enough).

What is complete garbage is the extent of the throttling. It has become impossible to even receive emails, open a browser page or even visit the [URL Removed] website itself. I've been throttled by other ISP's before, and while getting a slow connection is normal, the complete shutdown I'm experiencing with IC is in my opinion unreasonable and has rendered my internet completely unusable (luckily I have until the end of the month on Mweb still).

Currently, this redundant Mweb account is also in a throttled state, but it is infinitely better than the Incredible Connection one.

What I've also noted is that the various internet speed tests (when they finally open) all indicate amazing speeds on the IC ADSL, even now. Does this mean that the normal ports for browsing are being intentionally blocked?

In any case, for the 6 days that my account worked I was very happy with IC and i hope this unusability is an issue that will be resolved in future.
