Pick 'n Pay
Mr Ackerman, you staff have poisoned the community

Shops, Products, Services

I went to pick and pay, Chatsworth on the 29 November 2013 at approx 16:00. I noticed an in store special of clover butter for R15.99 on closer inspection the use by date stated 2 December 2013 I picked random bricks from the display and all had a use by date of 2 December 2013. I did not purchase any but unfortunately a family member did purchase some earlier in the day. The customer care line said we could get a refund. a refund is not in order. how many children will be eating this contaminated butter today? how many will end up sick and in hospital? why did pick and pay choose to sell these products in the first place? is pick and pay trying to get rid off these sub standard products by selling to the Chatsworth community? is profit more important than your consumers health? I fell pick and pay has a responsibility to publically recall this product before anyone gets seriously ill. Can you imagine all the people that that are suffering with food poisoning at this very moment it is especially sad since there was a pension pay out that day and i suspect plenty of the pensioners were duped by this special. was this you "vision for Chatsworth" as you so publically stated?
