Refusing to give me my money and removing the acco

Good Day
i'm really dissapointed, i payed up my account and i was adviced that before i the account can be closed they need to give me 279.48 that they owing me then told me to bring a 3 months bank statement and a copy of id, i did so when i get there they told me that they cannot see that 279 .48 that they owing me on the statement so i must get june statement, i told them that the bank will not give me june statement because i'm no longer using that bank account then they adviced me to speak to the manager Thabo i spoke to the manager he said i must to an avidafit at police station before they can give me my money and close the account, this is not acceptable, i need my money and the account to be closed i don't have money and time to go to the police station, kindly assist urgent, and pleasecan my account be removed on my itc as im done paying electric express
