Pet Masters
The poor care of the parrots!

Hi everybody,

It has been now on more than one occasion that when I have been to pet masters I have seen how badly the parrots are taken care of. As "professionals" they do a lousy job in responding to the basic needs of a parrot. on the first occasion there was a green fronted conure who had no top beak! the bird was trying desperately to eat but was not able to. the manager said the vet came to check the bird but was not able to show the paper work after throwing my toys out of the cot the bird was removed. The second incident when I went back to buy toys for my parrots I noticed that the birds either had dirty water or no water at all. There was an illigers macaw who was so hot he did not have the energy to stand up. The birds are given sunflower seeds to eat and had no toys to amuse themselves with. A parrot is an intelligent animal who needs stimulation and a varied diet of seeds, pellets, fruit and veggies. In my opinion and I know every other animal lover out there will agree, pet shops should not sell animals!
