Ripp off on sale goods!!

I purchased a Polo Handbag and paid R1295 in December 2012,
Yesterday i walked passed the shop and saw the exact same handbag (colour and all) was in the window on sale for R599. I went in and asked the salespeople why the bag was on sale and they said it came from head office. But why a month later is it on sale for R599. if i waited i could've paid R599 and saved R695 on the bag but i wanted it so bad that i purchased it for the original price. After talking to them they said if you purchase items you can get a 5% discount when you use you're card and 10% when you buy it for cash. What makes me furious is, after i was done purchasing the bag they told me i couldve got a 10% discount. I feel this was a ripp off, selling the same bag for R599 not a month later. I want my R695 reimbursed. Not happy with the service at all. The store manager had nothing to say. She stood there with a mouth full of teeth.
