Customer service at its LOWEST

On Saturday, 23rd November i went to the Truworths branch at Parow Centre to exchange an item that i purchased about 3 months ago.

When i go to the branch, i had to stand in an extremely long line where only 1 cashier was available! Its heading towards festive and the shops are getting busier, surely more tellers should be available?

After standing in this long line, i get to the front and when i explained that id like to do an exchange, im told that i am unable to perform this exchange as my purchase was done just over 3 months ago??? I am a loyal customer who maintains my account very well, and to be turned away just like that was quite disturbing. The manager was not even willing to accommodate me, instead she was trying to get me out of the line to serve the next customer!!!

i understand that you have your terms and conditions in place, but if surely if a summer item is displayed on your shelves in October, and we only truely experience summer by November/ December, then why are we unable to do an exchange or return? its not like im returning the item, id simply like to change it for something else!
