Poor material quality after first wash

A few months ago, I bought a white duvet with grey and black flower decorations together with matching curtains. Today was the first time I washed the duvet with cold water and to my horror the black flower decorations came off and in the process turned the dominant white colour to black. The duvet is permanently damaged. As I expect to have the same experience when washing the curtains, I shall return them as well. I DEMAND reimbursement and will safely return the poor quality items. ANGRY and DISAPPOINTED
