Being blacklisted through incompetence...!!!

I have taken out a Vodacom laptop contract on the 8th Feb 2013 through GAME in Parow Centre, since then I have just been using the laptop for my graphic design assignments and our house hold WIFI for internet purposes. I have been billed for cellular usage since 3rd June 2013. I queried this with GAME directly since I never received a sim card with the Laptop initially. The sim card in question is still currently active and in use, however neither GAME nor Vodacom is doing anything to help track it down or cancel it. I had informed them of this issue when it first occurred and to-date, they are still "investigating", for 6 months? Instead they are holding me responsible for the usage cost which has accumulated up to R8 000.00. I feel that I cannot be held responsible for the payment of the usage if I was unaware that a sim card was included in the contract and was not issued with one. Today i was contacted by their lawyers informing me that if the bill is not settled by month end, I will be blacklisted. I have been in constantly contact with them for more than 6 MONTHS waiting for a resolution as they promised and look were trusting them got me... still liable for unfair billing.
