HP Laptop Damaged During Warranty

I purchased an HP G6 Pavilion Laptop in February 2013 - and after about 5 months worth of usage the hinge and top-housing started to loosen. This eventually caused the hinge to crack.. I never once dropped the laptop or inflicted any negligence that could have caused this - this was truly faulty manufacturing. Apart from the now-cracked hinge and exposed housing, the laptop was in mint condition when I returned it to Game for warranty servicing. There were no scratches, no dents, and no signs of user-negligence. I make it a habit to look after my valuables, especially for something I've paid R7000 for - I'm a student.
A couple of weeks after returning the laptop in its original packaging - I received a call from Incredible Solutions, who explained that the laptop had been physically damaged, and that there are dents all over the laptop to prove this. This was news to me, I was completely shocked.
I was told I would be contacted with further updates, which did not happen. I approached the Ballito Game, two weeks later, who then informed me I would have to pay R2500.00 for repairs! I have pictures that show the laptop has been opened, and now all of a sudden it has liquid damage.
