I purchased a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses 2 months ago. On Saturday my daughter inadvertently squashed the arm while climbing into the car. I took the glasses into the store and spoke to the manager Roxanne. While I am fully aware that this was totally my fault, I expected the manager to be able to keep some semblance of respect and show a willingness to offer some reasonable suggestion. In stark contrast, she was unsympathetic and in fact displayed a sense of irritation that I was wasting her time bringing in a product that was "obviously damaged by customer negligence". I was then advised to go to an optician to see if they could repair. When I asked what the impact on my guarantee would be should it be damaged further, she said that it was done at my own risk. At no time did she even offer to send it to their lab for an assessment. When I enquired if she could do so, she promptly offered me a card with the telephone number and instructed me to make the arrangements myself. Even though I was by now growing quite tired of the insolence, I maintained a civil tongue and enquire if there was a ball park figure I could expect for such a repair. This was met with a blank "I have no idea
