Don't solve the problem, punish the customer more

Instead of sorting out the pricing situation of goods on the shelves to price charged at the till, Pick 'n Pay has decided to take away their incorrect pricing policy, where you get the first incorrectly priced item free and subsequent items at the correct price.

This shows a total betrayal of the consumer values they said they uphold. Not only does the consumer have to now police the price of items, but the person has to waste time trying to get the correct price and there is no re -compensation for the time wasted. On Sunday in a basket of 14 items two were incorrectly priced which would have added an extra R10 to my bill. Ten minute wait before I walked out, no apology, no satisfaction.
