Jo Malone Boutique RUINED my Nieces Birthday

I promised my Niece a bottle of Jo Malone cologne for her birthday. Friday 8 November I went into the boutique to purchase a 100ml bottle of Peony and Blush Suede, but they were out of Stock. Not a problem as they could order me a bottle and I was assured that it would be in-store by Tuesday 12 November. That was fine as the birthday party was that evening. Monday I phoned to confirm that all was still on track and was told they were expecting a delivery Monday afternoon or Tuesday Morning. Tuesday I phoned to see if they had received the delivery, to be told that they had not received my bottle and had to put in a new order which would take 24Hours. I called Estee Lauder Head Office and spoke to Megan, who confirmed that the bottle had never been ordered. The arrogance and rudeness which I encountered from her was completely shocking as I literally spend thousands of Rands in the store. At no point did they offer me an alternative or an apology due to their incompetence other than having to wait 24H.I think the staff of Jo Malone need an attitude adjustment and realise that they only work for the High End Boutique and that the customers are in fact PURCHASING the products.
