Don't take my bottle when you have no Gas!!

At 16h00 I went into the store to get my gas refilled. The bottle was taken out of my hand by an assistant who told me "we have no gas but we will take it elsewhere and get it filled, would you mind coming to collect in an hour? ". I said that was fine but queried whether they would be able to fill it as I could take it elsewhere down the road myself where I know they have gas. The response was, come back in an hour and you will have your bottle full - do not worry! Obviously when I went back at 17h30 the bottle was still there EMPTY! Their advice was, don't worry, we are getting gas tomorrow morning - if I wanted gas tomorrow I would have gone tomorrow.

After making two trips to the store I now have an empty gas bottle which I could have taken to another shop to fill.
