CTM Recommends Shocking Tile

In June/July I bought tiles and bathroom accessories from the West Gate branch and I asked the sales man (Raynard) for a very good tiler that he could recommend, assuming that CTM would know which tilers to use. The quality of the work was absolutely shocking. It is hard to put in words how shocking the workmanship was.

The tiler chipped about 100 tiles removing spacers between the tiles. They had used so much tile cement that the tile cement filled the gaps between the tiles were grout would go. Deciding to use tools in forceful manner to remove the spacers and therefore damaged the tiles.

The spacing between the tiles was supposed to be 8mm as I bought Kilimanjaro Tiles and the spacing is any thing from 8-12mm.

I had to rip up the tiles (and underfloor heating) just to have it replaced by a proper tiling company. I spent twice the amount I needed to re-tile my house.

I am still batting to get the tile cement and grout off the tiles on the bathroom wall and floor.

I can send you photos as I have not yet redone the bathrooms he tiled, as I need to save up.
