I paid my acount, check your statements!!!

Sheet Street accounts department contacted me for payment on my account

At that stage I was in bed, as I'm pregnant and the baby was thretening to come down
I explained to them, they sent me the banking details (absa bank) with the refference I should use

My neighbour works for absa and I sent the money with her to deposit as I could not go into town

That same day my neighbour gave me the slip that the money was deposited

Now sheet street contacts me again saying I will be handed over. I told the lady that I did the payment at absa bank, using the refference they gave me

The lady from sheet streets response was that they n under no circumstanses see if there was money paid, and therefor I will be handed over

1. If they tell me to make the payment there, knowing that they can not pick up payments made at absa, why do they give the banking details in the 1st place???
2. I am seriously not going to believe that they do not have an auditor or book keeping department that checks their bank statements for payments, if they give the absa account to customers so we can pay there?
