STILL AWAITING REPLY UNACCEPTABLE QUOTE

During the ECR House and Home Show a couple of months ago, I bought an oven, hob and extractor from the huge Hirsch stand for R16000. I was not informed that additional parts would be required at the time.

Hirsch offered to hols the items in stock until my kitchen was ready for them, which they did for a couple of months (thank you).

Upon opening the boxes and reading the instructions, I found out that special filters were required to operate the extractor fan. I requested a price from Hirsch's Spares Dept and was called back with a price of R890 each (2 required). I was informed that I would have to pay before they ordered and that I would be e-mailed a pro forma. this was 07/11. Still waiting. I made a complaint to the supplier who contacted me at 08h00 on the 08/11 and has sold me the filters for -R700 for a pair and is couriering them to me. Excelent service from the manufacturer (Bosch).
As for Hirsch's, I'm still waiting for the e-mail and they wanted R890 x 2. Unfortunately I can't spell the sales Rep's name from Hirsch.
