BAD SERVICE RE: POLICY ON EXCHANGE

I just have to say that Ackermans by far has the worst service of all retail stores i have come accross.
I opened my account about plus, minus 2 to 3 months ago. they had a promo running whereby upon opening an account you recieve R180 airtime along with a sim card on a network of your choice. To this day i have not recieve it.
But what really upset me is when i wanted to exchange 2 items yesterday at the Eerste river branch at the Grand Central Shoppin Centre. I didnt not have my reciept (due to of hand bag). The manager was called notifing me they cannot credit my items or look for it on the system and it was purchased on my card! which all stores do!
So the Manager (Jon) tells me i have to buy something to the value of those items, because that is all they can do. I ended up having to buy things i did not want or need. To top it all off i get a receipt from the store that only shows totals not listing the items bought. I think this is the same policy that these foreign small shops have this is a rip off!!
Then i call the customer care and brian of their offices tells me a different story.
