V/MARK MAKRO NOT DELIVERING ON ADVERTISING PROMISE

I bought a Genesis CycloVac approximately 2 months ago. After using it for a 3rd time I could smell the motor burning. Took it into Makro immediately for a replacement. I was told that they do not replace, they send it in for repairs which takes up to a maximum of 21 working days. Despite Verimark advertising a one year guarantee!!! Needless to say, I could have guessed that if they don't deliver on their promise which they so eagerly advertise, how would they ever deliver on a turn-around time of 21 days for repairs?!!! Well after about 5 - 6 weeks I only got the vac back. After about 5 minutes of vacuuming the motor stopped. This time not even wanting to restart. Verimark, why do you promise customers things that you cannot deliver on, and MAKRO: why do you support this?! Surely the objective of their association with Verimark should include customer service. I DO NOT see any of this happening. I surely cannot be the first person to complain about something like this. Well you can take this worthless piece of rubbish back. I want my money back. One DOES NOT have the time to struggle with a vacuum cleaner after a hard days work... something that is supposed to make one's life easier.
