Accused of lying, 2 months later no REPLY

The experience of the refunds process at Woolworths Cape Gate was nothing short of shocking. I had returned sale goods purchased at the Cape Gate store, and on the initial visit was serviced by Funeka. On the day of sale, she proceeded to sell me a one piece item that was meant to be sold as a two piece. She said she would find out the price for me on the one piece, and proceeded to sell the product to me, at R81. After noting that I could bring my sale goods back by the 8th September 2013 for a full refund, I took of the items back to Woolworths Parow Centre only to be told that they cannot take back the one piece, and it should not have been sold to me. On the day that I returned it, there was a shuffle around me wanting to return the items for starters, and they informed me that I cannot return it, for a refund. However on the day that I returned to the store for a refund, she stood there, and when asked about it by the gentleman that was assisting me, she said outright, "She is lying, I never said so." I was shocked, no one even offered an apology for her outright disrepect to me as a customer. I escalated to WW headoffice, and more than a month later, still no apology
