I am extremely disappointed at how Markham have handled my account as their customer. Just to get straight to the point - this retail shop has labeled me as a bad payer when I do not even owe them a cent and the mistake was on their side, as a result my credit report shows that I missed quite a bit of payments and I don't pay my bills. When I went to sport scene to check on my account, prepared to even pay the outstanding balance and clear my name, the manager decided to investigate this for me and call Markham's head office, who found that the money i supposedly owe is for interest & collection charges that accumulated when there was nothing to be collected to begin with. They told the manager that they have reversed the charges and this change will reflect after 24hrs. After a substantial amount of time (more than 30 days) for the changes to reflect, I went to Markham to check whats going on and I was told that the account is still in arrears meaning my credit report is just getting worse by the month. I would like nothing to do with them but I need for them to clear my name on my report and compensate me for falsely accusing me of such for the past 3 or 4 months.
