Selling of vitamins that expired

I was very disappointed when I bought a 3 for 2 special on Vital Vitamins at the Lephalale store. When I came home and opened the first bottle I noticed the expiry date to be October 2013. How can Clicks sell goods that have expired already, especially health products?
