I bought a fridge for R6599.00 on 23/09/2013 which was delivered on 26/09/13, after opening it I realised that the size was a bit small for my space then I decided to return it on 30/09/2013 for a bigger one which was R8999.00 and by the way I paid cash. The shop never gave me a copy of terms and conditions initially but the guy by the name of Mzwandile told me that he's going to charge me 10% handling fee & thats when the argument started. He was so loud and rude & caused a scene to a point that everyone in the store was looking then another staff member intervened & processed a new deal. I'm a 65year old pensioner & I was so angry & humiliated that when I got home I related the story to my daughter who then called the store to find out & the same Mzwandile guy was so rude to her then she asked for the manager by the name of Patrick & when he told Patrick what happened he said he needs a formal statement from me. As a pensioner am I expected to go back to the store using my money for transport just to go and give a statement? They dont even appreciate the fact that I gave them business and paid R8999.00 cash they still disrespect and humiliate me in front of customers & staff.
