Pathetic client service and false advertising

Good day
I had pre ordered and paid in full for the FIFA14 FUT game on the 10th of September and been notified both telephonically and electronically that the delivery to my offices would take place on the release date which is the 27th of September. On the 27th i received communication that the product has been dispatched and will be arriving to me. Upon calling the contact centre numerous times they had advised me that i will definitely get my product on the indicated date being the 27th! I followed up with them throughout the day for feedback as i had not received anything. The final call was made at 6pm as i had been advised the delivery hours had been extended to 7pm and the consultant told me my delivery had not even been sent out. They have and locked me into a product i could have easily purchased at any large retailer as i requested to have my order cancelled and refunded immediately, they could not even do that. The dishonesty of the consultants reflects to the caliber of the company, continuously lying to me to lead me on. Illegal according to NCA? False advertising?
