Jet
Jetmart Queenstown - Terrible service/attitude

Shops, Products, Services

I have no idea what the retail industry is coming to if this is the norm... A collegue of mine went to jet mart during lunch today 26 Sept 2013 (between 13h00 - 14h00) and purchased a jacket. Then when leaving the shop, the security asked to look into her bag, confiscated a bottle of deoderant she bought at Clicks the previous Friday (20 Sept2013) and proceeded to tell her she MUST produce a receipt from Clicks to prove she did indeed but this deoderant there. She asked to speak to the manager, Simphiwe Jack, who then told her the same thing. What on earth is this treatment? I was with her when she bought the deoderant, and since when does a customer have to prove that whats in your bag is yours by producing a receipt? i mean who carries a receipt for deoderant purchased just sothat on the off chance a jetmart security stops you and you can prove it is yours. The security machine also never sounded any warning indicating there is something on her that could have been, the manager also says there are no secuirty cameras for them to confirm that she never the deoderant. When i spoke to Simphiwe i was met with a "you-can-do-what-you-like-attitude". Plse HELP
