Hi am deeply upset about the service from Funiture city, its been one problem to another. The red Aphine
corner lounge was advertised about two months back for R21 999. When I seen the ad I was in the process of having the brown colour returned due to damage and requested to change to the red coulour, it was agreed so it was told to me that it will be done as soon as the red lounge becomes available. it went on to three weeks without a call, eventually I had to call and it was said that they were now available. I was requested to come in to the store to cancel the current agreement. When signing the new contract it was priced at R23 999. When asked they said that management said that we can't get the lounge at the advertised price, it is now R23 999. I was also pre-approved the first time and on approval for the second time it was rejected because I'm a contract worker. I have already paid 2 months instalments of R1849 each. I have other streams of income but was told that they only using my salary advice. Its really frustrating dealing with furniture city, I will not recommend anyone to do business with Furniture City! This is bad consumerism!
