I bought an Exo-Terra natural habitat setup for my pet chameleon, and I had to purchase a Sun Glo Globe which was an option, which I did. Everything was running fine until the Sun Glo Globe did not start up about 1 week later. I naturally found the till slip and took it back expecting either a refund or a replacement. This was not the case, I was told by the sales person that it was not their policy to refund or replace faulty good and it had to be sent back to their supplier for testing of the products fault. I found this to be totally unacceptable but given the lack of options I had at that time I was forced to agree to that option and left my contact details with them, they said it would not take more than a few days but not more than a week. I was forced to buy yet another Sun Glo Globe (@ R85 each) as my chameleon needed it to survive.
I would really like a response to my complaint as I find their business ethics very questionable and unfair to the customer who had no abjection when it came time for payment of the products yet there is no after sales support at all. I mean, would anyone pay double for 1 item that should have been replaced?
