I would like to report the bad service and the stinking attitude I received from the store manager Thato Lekgatie. I spend over R3000 a month at shoprite and over R30 000 per year at shoprite and today i was shown that by me being a client means absolutely nothing. I was misinformed on Monday by a floor staff member that the 1kg omo would be on special the whole week. When I went back to the store today the special was over. When I asked for the store manager he was dragging his feet and made me a lair. He told me that the sale was on for a week already and that it had ended on Sunday which was a cause I was at the store on Monday. When I then asked for the floor staff member who gave me the incorrect information I was told that he was injured at work and would not be there for a couple of days. I then told the manager that its not my fault that I was misinformed. He simply didn't care to resolve this and just brushed me off. He gave me there client service number to call and was not interested in what I had to say or to resolve my query. I will never set foot again at shoprite and I will take my business elsewhere and so will all my friends and family.
