Sandton City has displayed dishonest behaviou

Almost a year ago, there was an incident in the ladies bathroom where I had left my phone and another woman had taken it. I had realised my mistake and tried to run after the women, but to my surprise, she was agile and fast. I went to security to report the problem, describe her and hopefully find her on the cameras.

Security did find her on the cameras but failed to stop her. I reported the problem after that and reported the phone at SAPS, and Sandton City assured me they would look into the problem.

Almost a year later and I have had no response whatsoever. I am now off the opinion that someone in Security/Management had deliberately failed to execute their duties effectively, in the hopes to gain from the item. No other explanation is believable and it is appalling at how low an entity can sink due to poor management and a lack of skills with regards to staff.
