Kelvinator Dishwaher Tray

I got a KD12MM1 Dishwasher that are /- 4 years old. The bottom tray rusted and cant be used anymore. They quote me R800 for a new one. A new dishwasher costs now R2700.its just over a third of a new ones price. My repair centre advised me to rather buy Defy products because their spares are cheaper.
