Shocking customer service

Wanted to buy 2 car seats for twins. Price on goods was 499.00 but scanning at till shows 799. Waited at till for 40min plus but no resolution. Eventually left both seats as my children needed food and nappy change. This is unacceptable as haggling over price on article?! They said needed to get hold of area manager but he was unavailable? Said that they would phone me when they had clarity on what price...
