Leather boots turned out half-leather only

Posted complaint on Green Cross website in July. To date NO RESPONSE!

I bought a pair of boots, photo herewith, on 17/06/11 assuming it was leather. Not one of the shop assistants pointed out that this product was half leather, half synthetic fabric. At the end of last Winter the top part starting to show cracks which has just worsened from then onwards.
During the same period I bought a pair of leather boots from Froggies, cheaper than the Green Cross pair - which shows no wear & tear even though I wear it more than the boots in question.
Would suggest you have a look at the product and do the top and bottom part of the same durable fabric. The bottom part and sole of the boots I bought from your store will outlive me. I went back to the Somerset Mall branch, showed the saleslady the cracks. She had the snotty remark that I should have known that for the prize I paid I cannot expect it to be a full leather boot. At first she was not sure herself and had to ask another saleslady whether this is leather or not. Maybe time for a refreshing course for salesladies. Apart from inferior boot WHY have a 'contact us' on website if you don't respond?
