I did not want to have to resort to using this forum, but seeing as my Facebook Post on Pick n Pay's Facebook Wall seems to have gone unnoticed (All other posts before and after my post have all received responses), and the Customer Services link on their Facebook Page is "temporarily unavailable", as well as their official website sending me an automatic response to my complaint saying that same has "not been processed", this has become my last resort.
At around 5pm I reached a till point in order to pay for my goods. The lady behind the till rang everything up & I gave her my credit card to pay for my goods. She then accidentally hit the cash button following which the till opened & the transaction closed off. She then told me that I must go draw cash to pay for my groceries BECAUSE SHE MADE A MISTAKE! I then told her that I am unfortunately not willing to draw cash out of my credit card as we all know the charges that come with that. She then called the till supervisor/manager and following them two having a conversation in their own language, the manager told me that I can not leave the store with the groceries unless I go draw the cash. Is this called customer service? DISGUSTED
