Offensive Attitude to Gay Men

Experinced very derogatory attitude and remarks about gay men and the fashion that they wear. The apology was in the form of "I did not know" when I told the shop assistant that I am gay. Very surprised that this would happen in Cape Town being one of the most liberal cities in the world.
